Join all of the Crimson Tide fans in the greater New York area to watch every football game at The Ainsworth (122 West 26th St btw 6th & 7th Ave). The Ainsworth is Manhattan's biggest new sports bar with seating for 200, 38 televisions, a giant projection screen, and a cutting edge sound system with the Crimson Tide on every channel come kick off. The staff will be decked out in Crimson and White, there will be shakers on every table, and drink and food specials for Alabama fans. This fall there will be no better place outside of Tuscaloosa to watch the Tide roll.
BCS Championship The Greater New York Chapter will be watching and cheering at two great NYC locations: The Ainsworth (122 W 26th St btw 6th & 7th Ave) and its sister bar, The Hill (416 3rd Ave btw 28th & 29th St). Both bars will have the game on every television with sound, all of the Million Dollar Band's best playing during the game, shakers straight from Tuscaloosa, and the staff decked out in Crimson & White. While both bars have reserved tables for chapter members, there will be additional space available first come, first served at both locations if you get there early.
UA NYC Awarded Chapter of the Year
The Greater New York Chapter was recently named the 2008/2009 Out of State Chapter of the Year. This is recognition of the incredible work numerous chapter officers have put in over the years to build the chapter as well as the incredible support that the chapter receives from all of the Alabama alumni, family, and fans in the city.
Join UA NYC on Facebook In addition to our regular emails and UANYC.com, the chapter uses Facebook to communicate events, share pictures, videos, and news, and stay in touch with our alumni in the area. To join the chapter on facebook just click here.
Get Involved in Your Chapter
The summer in NYC is a great time to get to get involved with the Greater New York Alumni Chapter. The chapter's leadership board is currently planning a summer charity day, working with new student recruitment, scholarship fund raising, and, of course, planning for another incredible football season this fall. To get involved just send an email to alumni@uanyc.com and let us know what areas interest you.

Support the Chapter - Please Pay Your Dues
You dues support chapter events like the fall football game watches, the holiday party, and the chapter's scholarship program. Last year, 10% of dues paid went to the Ned McDavid Endowed Scholarship. We expect to increase that percentage this year. Paying your dues online is secure and easy, just click on the appropriate link and follow the directions: $25 for individuals or $40 for couples. If you would rather pay your dues the old fashioned way, just send a check made out to the GNY Alumni Association to Christopher Hollinger, 320 West 84th Street, Apt 6D, New York, NY 10024.
